Explore your feet in this gentle,restorative workshop .
For all that our feet do for us we don’t do much for them in return . We cram them Into shoes , pound along on them all day and generally ignore them . This small structure provides us with strength and mobility so we can stand ,walk, run and practice yoga .In Yoga tradition the lowly foot paradoxically has an almost trancesdent status .Students will touch or kiss the foot of a beloved teacher in Reverence .similarly, the first phrase of the Ashtanga
Vinyasa Yoga invocation ‘ Vande gurunam charanaravinde (‘I honour the lotus flower feet of all gurus’) acknowledges that Yoga teachings have stepped down through time on the feet of the learned ones. Understand and give your feet a little attention and your whole body will feel better AND we will have of course have time for a nourishing Yoga Nidra.
