Restorative Yoga is a treat for the body, nourishment for the nervous system and a necessity for the soul. Tools for Gentle Rest will offer us simple and effective ways to celebrate the softness in ourselves and in our practice. With mountains of props to help us sink into a series of passively held postures, supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets.
This is active rest. And we all need it. In the last portion of the workshop we will also dive even deeper into relaxation with yoga nidra, yogic sleep.
